Five days after playing keyboards and percussion in Hertfordshire with The Stones, and two days after playing solo piano at a private party in the Charente, I played the first of three public gigs in the Dordogne, with SouthWest.
As we have for several years now, we set up in front of the Abbey in Cadouin. Easily the most spectacular backdrop we use, and not at all visible in this shot from behind the drum kit. Yes, it was hot. But not as hot as today (which is why I’m inside, catching up on blog posts).
