Solo piano set list for 2021 and beyond

A few clients have asked me about my solo piano set list, recently. I’ve been avoiding this, because my music pile has looked like this for months (taken earlier this morning):

Following some prompting from hairstylist and make up artist, Claire Jones, I waded through the pile just now. And here is where I am currently.

[Note: This is a work in progress. Some client requests are not listed at the moment. If you see any glaring omissions, please do let me know. I’ll add a form at the bottom of the page for shy people, or comment below that for all the world to see…]

I really got into these panorama shots during the last full season

Songs you probably shouldn’t play at a wedding – Creep – Don’t worry, be happy [Note: I absolutely love “The winner takes it all” and it’s tragic that I may never play it]

Songs for the church – Amazing grace – Prelude in C – Prelude in C minor – Pachelbel’s Canon (Which goes nicely into Elvis’ “Can’t help falling in love with you”) – Ave Maria – Cavatina – Jesu, joy of man’s desiring

And when I get round to it – My favourite things – All the things you are – As time goes by – and… (gulp)… but I really want to do it… (deep breath) Monsters Inc. Theme

Notes to self: Also take a look at… What I’d say – How deep is your love? – House of the Rising Sun

More panoramic evidence – there was a shire horse at this wedding

There. You can see why I’ve been putting off gathering those songs into one place.

Now, I already play most of those. But if you’re wondering what I’m doing over the next many months, it’s working on the rest of them. I might post on the SoundCloud and YouTube channels along the way (they’re very out of date). And I may even blog some progress here.

As I said at the top of the page, if there’s anything that really should be on this list (I’ve left a bunch of stuff out, for various reasons), please let me know. I’ll hand you the mic now… go!
