For the last few years, SouthWest has played in Cadouin for a couple of the Thursday marché gourmands that take place in July and August. This week, we played the first of those. This Thursday, we were joined by a young female French singer, who did a brilliant performance of Purple Rain. And a little later, a professional singer from Paris—Olivia—joined us and totally rocked the Ben l’Oncle Soul version of Seven Nation Army.
If you’re in the area, we’re playing for the next two Thursdays. It may not be so hot, as the weather turn yesterday, leading to a cancellation of last night’s gig in Limeuil. We really needed that rain though. All of us.
