End-of-season bash in the village hall

And finally—for the summer season—SouthWest played the village hall in Coux-et-Bigaroque last Saturday. Attendance was pretty good and we played a solid couple of hours for a mixture of dancers and sitters. The evening ended in typical French rock and roll fashion, with a selection of cheese followed by kisses on the cheeks.

We’ll be taking a break for a bit before getting ready for the 2020 season. We already have some weddings and public gigs in the diary—and there’s even a very keen booking for 2021. But we still have some availability—so don’t be afraid to ask if we’re available…

Over the winter, I’ll be uploading video with good sound from this gig—I finally absolutely nailed the speed for “Alright” by Supergrass and, from memory, our “Don’t stop me now” was pretty good. In the meantime, here’s a panorama from before the gig. You can expect to see a lot more of these on this blog. It’s such an awesome gimmick.
