Very rarely, a gig comes along that, for one reason or another – possibly both – is not much fun. The last one I remember was this one, from a few years ago. (A postscript on that gig, by the way: I filmed and recorded it, but the guy doing the pa had the keyboards so low in the mix, I might as well not have been there. This happens a lot with keyboard players. [Name drop warning] Even at Brixton Academy back in the 90s.)
Anyhow, last Friday was a gig like that. Here’s a photo to show we were there. I think we’ll move swiftly on.
