More about your live disco band
DEBBIE – Main Vocals
With 28 years of experience, Debbie has built a versatile and enduring career performing music from the 1960s to today. She began singing at 16 and has since taken the stage in care homes, local pubs, working men’s clubs, festivals, and corporate events and with each performance helping to connect with diverse audiences, refining her craft. Alongside covering timeless classics and modern hits, Debbie has also written and performed original music, adding a personal and creative dimension to her shows. Whether in an intimate setting or in front of a festival crowd, Debbie brings energy, emotion, and professionalism to every performance. Debbie’s singing is more than a passion—it’s a lifelong journey and she feels very proud to be part of the next era of the Legends of Sound.
KANE – Lead / Rhythm Guitar / Backing Vocals
Kane has been playing the guitar for 18 years. First showing an interest in music at the age of 12, he eagerly picked up the instrument and has since never looked back. Spending his formative years honing his craft, Kane would then go on to contribute his style and sound to various projects and bands over the years, releasing his own music as well as covering a wide variety of genres, from metal all the way to country. Kane adds his own flair to classic funk and disco tracks that are guaranteed to keep you on your feet all night.
ALEX – Keyboards / Backing Vocals
Alex has been performing, writing and recording music since the days of hair metal in the 80s. He has played in venues of all shapes and sizes, from garden parties to festivals. For the last 15 years, he’s been playing in various tribute, wedding and event bands, in France and the UK, joining Legends of Sound in January 2024. He has also been performing as a soloist and teaching piano in schools. Although he seriously enjoyed playing the old rock and pop set list, he can’t wait to perform the new live disco show. With a group of musicians who are as lovely as they are talented.
CHRIS – Bass / Backing Vocals
Chris is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist performing with both original and tribute acts across a wide range of genres including jazz, blues, fusion, metal and progressive rock. He began his musical journey aged five with piano lessons, later teaching himself various instruments until 2001, when he studied professionally in London. Chris has since performed across the UK and internationally in places such as Romania, the Netherlands, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain to name a few. With Legends of Sound for the previous seven years on drums, Chris has swapped to the bass guitar to give the band an uplifted funk feel, with his lifelong friend and brother in law, Matt, on the drums. They have worked on many successful projects together and these two make up a solid powerhouse that keeps the band tight and the public dancing.
MATT – Drums / Backing Vocals
Matt is a seasoned drummer with an impressive 32-year career in the music industry. His experience spans a wide range of musical endeavours, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to his craft. He has honed his skills through various musical projects, including original metal bands, cover bands, and tribute bands. Furthermore, Matt has contributed his talents as a session musician for numerous bands over the years, showcasing his adaptability and ability to collaborate with different artists and genres. He is now looking forward to performing with an amazing group of musicians, Legends of Sound. Bringing everyone to the dance floor, from the beginning to the very end.
