Learn to play the piano with Alex

You can always learn to play the piano by working your way through a series of course books. But a repertoire of “London’s Burning” and “Three Blind Mice” is unlikely to inspire you to keep playing.

Wouldn’t it be more interesting to start learning to play some of your favourite songs from Day One? Something by Adele, or Ed Sheeran, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd – anyone you like…

Alex can help you with one song, or an entire set list

Learn to play the piano your way

Just name the tune and Alex will work out the best way for you to learn it – in the shortest possible time.

While you are learning to play the piano, Alex will teach you how to read and write music. He will get you to explore the piano keyboard by sight, sound and touch, playing with sheet music and chord charts. He will only teach you the scales you need to know. Then get you improvising around the melodies of your favourite songs. You won’t just be learning them. You will be making them your own.

Take a look at Alex’s YouTube channel to see arrangements of some of the songs on the set list. Many of these are quite complex, but they can all be arranged for any level of player.

There are only 12 notes on the piano keyboard. How hard can it be?
