This season saw the launch of Soupçon – the Aquitaine-based new duo (sometimes trio or quartet) featuring Alex on piano and Phyll on vocals, double bass and cello.
Soupçon played at the launch of Rebecca Powell’s compelling new novel The Brazilian Husband. And they have entertained diners at le Jardin des Nénuphars in the Lot-et-Garonne more than once. To give you a soupçon of Soupçon, here are a couple of videos from their first evening at the garden. And you will find more images and sounds on the new act’s Facebook Page.
As a duo, Soupçon performs a balanced and entertaining set list songs in English and French. Trio and quartet formations are also in the early stages of development. Watch this space for more details.
